We are doing a bit of research to better understand what changes are needed in eating disorder services, and to gather statistics. We are looking for a broad range of views, from carers, parents, sufferers, and professionals, such as dieticians, doctors, nurses, HCAs, psychologists and psychiatrists. Survey for individuals with an eating disorder

Lived Experiences of Eating Disorder Treatment in Ireland

Survey Information

Mind EveryBody is an advocacy group founded in November 2023. Our goal is raise awareness about what eating disorders are, and to advocate for better services across the country.

​

According to Bodywhys, "Current diagnosable eating disorders include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) and other specific feeding and eating disorders (OSFED)."

​

Eating disorders are recognized as a mental illness, and are not a choice.

​

This survey is intended for individuals who have lived experience of an eating disorder, whether you're not in recovery, in recovery, or fully recovered.


The purpose of this survey is to gain a better understanding from a lived experience perspective about what improvements can be made in eating disorder services in Ireland.


Results of the survey may be shared on our website, mindeverybody.com, with politicians, and with the media, but participants will be completely anonymous.

This survey is intended for ages 13 and up.

Please note if you are aged between 13 and 17 and taking this survey, you will need parental consent.

Professional Experiences of Eating Disorder Treatment

Survey Information

This survey is intended for individuals who work in Irish hospitals, psychiatric facilities, CAMHS, inpatient/outpatient services, or therapists and private therapists who deal with Eating Disorders.


If you are no longer in the job, please list your previous role, facility, and county.


The purpose of this survey is to gain a better understanding from a professional perspective about what improvements can be made in Eating Disorder services in Ireland.


We hear often from carers and sufferers, but not from staff. It is an important perspective that is missing from the overall picture.


Results of the survey will be shared, but participants will be completely anonymous.
