MIND EVERYBODY
It's time to reform eating disorder treatment in Ireland
ABOUT MIND EVERYBODY
My name is Amy Hanley, and I started Mind EveryBody in November 2023 as a campaign to seek reform in Eating Disorder services across Ireland.
What started initially as a single protest, evolved into a small advocacy group consisting of professionals, carers, and sufferers of eating disorders.
Together, we are working to encourage awareness of what eating disorders are, and what sufferers and carers go through. We try to break stigmas through openness, and we promote compassion and understanding of the disorder.
We tirelessly advocate for improvements in eating disorder services by raising public awareness through protests, radio shows, newspaper articles, tv appearances, and social media. We work with politicians to ask for additional services such as funding, beds, better parent and sufferer supports, and connections in mental health services and acute hospitals.
